D. Results. It’s All in the Learning.

Little Mountain Learning Academy’s methods are rooted in proven traditional learning as well as proven modern principles such as progressive education, personalized learning and dynamic learning. We prefer exercises that include meaningful and relevant subjects and emphasize ‘learning by doing’ rather than instruction purely by textbook or rote memory.

Our learning structure focuses on the developing personality of the learner and honours the approach, ‘teach the student, not the subject’.

C. The ‘Little Mountain’ Big Difference.

At Little Mountain Learning Academy, we emphasize interaction and engagement with fellow students and instructors during class time rather than limited educational approaches that involve systematic worksheets and textbook memorization.

Our learning environment encourages students to contribute, discuss and exchange ideas both with their classmates and their instructors. As a result of ongoing encouragement and active participation in our small group settings even the most timid students find their ‘voice’. Our proven methods of discovery build self-esteem and enable students to become more active and confident participants in their larger school classroom.

B. Our New School, Take a Tour!

Little Mountain Learning Academy is happy to share the wonderful news that our new modern educational facility has been up and operating since the Fall 2011 semester. All of our dedicated staff have been working hard since the spring, along with the help of our suppliers and lots of effort and enthusiasm from marianne amodio architecture studio to design and construct this brand new facility to serve the needs of our life long achievers.

As well as more open space, our new modern educational facilities includes splashes of colour and natural light throughout, newly renovated classrooms that include multi-media tools in each room, a 60 ft library shelf wall filled with books, a 60 ft magnetic art display wall, and a computer area with full internet access.

We look forward to the opportunity to host more students and implement new programs in out new facility.
