  • Writing and communication is an exclusively online course designed to motivate students to write frequently and abundantly. With online meeting times, students are able to communicate their ideas through IM, as well as get valuable tips from LMCA instructors.
  • Little Mountain's Online intensive writing course offers students a chance to get detailed feedback on their writing from the comfort of their own home. Academic Writing 1 takes students through the process of building a perfect paragraph, guiding students through detailed exercises over 10 lessons. Each lesson contains multiple assignments, all of which are evaluated by the teacher.
  • Part II of the Online Intensive Writing course offered through LMCA. In these 10 lessons, students learn how to create an essay through skillfully directed instructions. Students will receive detailed feedback from the instructor for each writing piece they produce. This course is ideal for any student wishing to improve their academic writing skills.
  • This course is the third in the Online Intensive writing program. In these 10 lessons, students will be required to write 10 complete essays in a wide range of styles, including narrative, cause and effect, compare and contrast, and more. Each essay will be evaluated by a qualified teacher from LMCA, giving detailed feedback and suggestions for their next essay.
  • Reading Club Online offers students of Little Mountain's Reading Club a chance to expand on their current workload. This Course serves to not only connect students to teachers, but also allow students to discuss books they have read in a supervised environment.
  • The Non-fiction reading club focuses on a different subject each week, covering history, geography, sociology, and science. Students are required to read a primary reader, as well as expand upon the material in the reader through research of their own.
  • This reading club course is based on using the world wide web as a limitless virtual library. Students in this course learn skim and scan reading techniques, how to effectively find information online, and engage in dialogue and communication in an on and offline environment.
