LM Online Learning Policy (Outside Canada)
Tuition Fee Payments
Courses are offered in packages of 48 lessons, up to 3 packages of 144 lessons. There is no additional charge besides the tuition fee. Payment of tuition for the package registration is required prior to the start of classes. Little Mountain Online (LM Online) accepts Wechat, Alipay, debit card, and major credit cards.
Free Assessment -A free assessment will be provided prior to the class start.
Free Classes
Any promotional free classes will be granted after finishing the current registered package.
Refund Policy
*Refund before the program starts:
If a cancellation notice is received before the start of a program, LM Online will refund 100% of the total course fee within 3 business days.
*Refund after the program starts:
If a cancellation notice is received within the first 4 classes of the program’s duration, The full value of the remaining tuition fees in the program will be refunded after applying the refund processing fee which is 2% of the remaining tuition fee. If the student withdraws after 4 classes no refund is provided. Non-refundable tuition can be transferred within a year to Little Mountain programs on Canada Campus or 80% of the remaining tuition fee can be transferred to family members or friends to use it within a year.
LM Online retains the right to provide a substitute teacher in cases of teacher sickness, vacation or other reasons determined by LM Online. No refunds are granted in such situations. If no substitute teacher is provided the class is considered to be a credit class and will be added to the student’s schedule so that they are assured of receiving all the classes they have paid for that are in the class package.
Late Show or No Show:
When a student shows up late within the 40-minute class time, the class only lasts until the original 40-minute mark ends. In other words, the class time is not extended. Classes missed without notice are considered classes and no refunds and no credits are granted.
Credits
*1:1 class- When a student has to miss a class, a maximum of 3 times per package (48 lessons) can be rescheduled with 36 hours’ notice.
*1:3 group class- When a student has to miss a group class, the recorded class will be available to the student who is absent, and no refunds or credits are granted. The student should make up the class by reviewing the video of the missed class before joining the following class.
*Any credits authorized within a package can be transferred to a future package. Any unused credits within a package will expire in the following package.
Release of Photographs and Written Work– From time to time, student written work, photos, audio, and video may be used in LM Online course materials and marketing. Release of student photos and written work is required for registration in LM Online and is acknowledged by signing this registration form.
Online Platform: The online platform can be switched to an alternative (Zoom, Google Classroom) if the current platform confronts any technical difficulties to deliver a good quality of the class. It may require a VPN depending on the location.

学费支付规定
学生购买1个套餐（包含48节课时）至3个套餐（包含144节课时）的课时，并按照相应标准支付学费。 学费为全部费用，无额外其他费用。学生需要在课程开始之前，一次性支付所购买套餐的所有费用。小山网络课程接受微信、支付宝、信用卡和加拿大储蓄卡等多种支付方式。
免费测试
课程开始之前，小山网络课程将会为学生提供一个免费的入学测试，以便将学生安排至最恰当的学习课程中。
免费赠课
学校促销期间所做的任何免费赠课活动，赠课课节都将会在学生现有套餐结束后生效。
退款
*课程开始前退款：在课程开始前收到书面退款申请，小山网络课程将在3个工作日之内退还， 退款将会收取退款金额的2% 作为退款手续费，剩余的交费金额100%全部返还。
*课程开始后退款：在课程开始的首4节课内提出退款，小山网络课程在退款时会收取剩余课时学费的2% 作为退款手续费，扣除已上过的课节学费，其他全部返还。
退还全部剩余课时学费；如果学生在4节课（不包括第4节课）之后提出退款，小山网络课程将不退还学费。
*不可退还的剩余学费，可以在1年时间内完全转换至加拿大小山学校（实体店）的学费；或者剩余学费的80%可以在1年的时间内转至家庭成员或朋友在小山网络课程使用。
*小山学校网络课程在教师生病、休假、离职以及其他不可预测的合理情况时，保留指派代课老师上课的权利，此情况下不予退款。如果没有成功安排老师代课，所涉及的课程学费将会被保留并进行顺延使用。
迟到或者未出席课程
每节课时设置时长为40分钟，由于迟到所造成的学业损失，由学生自负。学生未经学校批准，因自己原因未出席的课程不提供补课、学费退款和学费顺延。
缺课申请及课时保留和顺延
*1对1私教课程：如果学生缺课1:1私教课程，每个套餐（48个课时），学生最多有3次机会提出缺课申请，申请时间至少为该课节上课前的36小时以上。缺课的课节可以进行保留并顺延。超过次数以及未满足最低申请时间要求的，不予以提供学费保留和顺延。顺延学费不退款。
*1对3小组课程：如果学生缺课1:3小组课程，该课节相对应的回播内容将在课程结束后提供给学生。学生需要在下次课上课之前，浏览观看和学习相应授课内容，以赶上该学习小组的进度。学生缺课不作课时保留和顺延处理。
*所有由于学校原因产生的保留或顺延的课时仅限在现有套餐结束后、下个套餐开始前（或者可以作为下个套餐的学费抵减）使用，此后自动作废。
照片及写作作品的使用
学生们的写作作品和照片有时可能会被用在小山学校（实体学校和网络课程） 课程材料和市场宣传中。注册小山网络课程的学生会要求签署此协议来保证照片和写作作品可以被小山学校（实体学校和网络课程）使用。
网课授课平台
如果现行网络授课平台由于政策和技术问题无法使用，小山学校将会有权要求学生转换至其他网络授课平台，包括但不仅限于Zoom , Google classroom等。 根据学生所在地区，平台转换有可能需要VPN支持。
