Student Stream Presentation Night – “What Adults Can Learn From Kids.”
After watching a TED talk by Adora Svitak, a pre-teen presenter and author, the students were asked to critique the content and delivery. The students were then asked to recreate an improved version of the presentation by exploring questions such as, What can adults learn from kids? How can adults best support kids? What should adults remember about school, growing up etc. The students were asked to write a persuasive essay on the topic, and then, to create complementary visuals to aid in the successful transition into the realm of speech.
